BEZEL SET PENDANTS - INTERMEDIATE SILVERSMITHING

  • Creating decorative embellishments from wire
  • Handcrafting Infinity chain links
  • Intermediate soldering techniques
  • Sawing, filing, and shaping metal
  • Forming and fitting a bezel for a gemstone
  • Setting a faceted gemstone securely
  • Surface finishing and texturing techniques
  • Oxidizing and polishing for a professional finish
  • Design principles for an elegant necklace construction
SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate - You MUST have basic soldering knowledge; no basic instructions will be taught.


WHAT YOU'LL CREATE: A stunning handcrafted gemstone necklace featuring a custom bezel-set gemstone with decorative embellishments and a beautiful handmade chain—an heirloom-quality piece you'll be proud to wear or gift.

THE VIBE: Expect a small, intimate group, plenty of personal guidance, and a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. We’ll learn, laugh, ask questions, and probably bond over our shared jewelry addiction (you’ve been warned 😜).

MATERIALS LIST if BRING YOUR OWN  {contact me if you have questions}

  • Large Gemstone Cabochon
  • 24 ga sterling silver sheet {large enough to accommodate your cabochon}
  • Bezel Wire that accommodates you cabochon
  • 16 ga, 5mm Sterling Jump Rings, approximately 80+
  • Optional: scraps of sterling silver wire and sheet to create embellishments

  • NO PREVIOUS SKILLS ARE NEEDED and BEGINNERS ARE ENCOURAGED

PLEASE NOTE: REGISTRATION IS FOR ONE STUDENT: each student must be registered, paid in their name, and provide contact info.

WHAT TO BRING: Just you and your creativity! We’ll supply everything! {If you have jewelry tools, you’re welcome to bring them. Please make sure they are labeled somehow with your name; in case they accidentally get mixed up.}

After the class, you’ll receive an email with a written tutorial.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY
STUDIO NAVARRI allows cancellations to class reservations up to 24 hours before the scheduled class time. Reservations canceled more than 24 hours in advance will be issued a refund minus $5 for the credit card processing fee {if applicable}, or you may receive full credit toward rescheduling a future class.
