Every spring, I wait impatiently for our DOGWOODS to arrive. Not only are they native to our wooded mountains, but Knoxvillians have been planting and nourishing them in our home landscaping, as well as local businesses.
One day there's only tiny buds, hardly noticeable ... And then suddenly... The blooms explode everywhere at once. It's like a celebration of spring!
Since 1955, Dogwood Arts has brought Knoxville’s favorite springtime tradition to life. What began as a neighborhood beautification effort has grown into a vibrant celebration of East Tennessee’s art, culture, and natural beauty. This April, over 90 miles of historic Dogwood Trails were open for visitors to explore by car, bike, or foot.
I created this collection to pay homage to our beautiful East Tennessee native trees. Our DOGWOOD COLLECTION is still being created ... Each piece is hand cut with a jewelers say and then sculpted to give it dimension and shape. Each piece is unique and sold as a one of a kind. So, watch for necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelet and slide for collars.
