2026 JEWELRY CLASS SCHEDULE

Step into my studio and into the magic of artisan jewelry. In these in-person classes, I’ll guide you through the process of creating your own unique jewelry, sharing the techniques, knowledge, and little secrets I’ve learned over more than 25 years as a jewelry artist.

This is a hands-on, intimate experience where you’re encouraged to slow down, explore your creativity, and connect with the joy of making something beautiful with your own hands.

Whether you’re brand new or returning to the craft, you’ll leave with a piece you created—and the confidence to keep creating.

If you’ve ever admired a beautifully set stone and thought “I wish I could make that,” this class is for you. 💛

Join me for a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop where we’ll dive into the fundamentals of silversmithing and create a one-of-a-kind bezel-set pendant from start to finish.

I’ve spent over 25 years at the bench, and I love sharing the real-world techniques, shortcuts, and little “aha!” moments that only come from experience. No prior jewelry experience is needed—truly. If you’ve never picked up a torch before, you’re in the right place.

We’ll start by demystifying the basics (yes, we’ll finally answer What the heck is flux? Why is pickle not food? And what on earth is fire scale?! 😄). From there, we’ll move step-by-step through the process of creating a pendant that feels intentional, personal, and beautifully finished.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN

  • Safe, confident basic soldering with a small butane torch
  • Sawing, filing, and texturing metal
  • Creating a back plate and adding simple embellishments
  • Bezel setting cabochons or gemstones
  • Bail making for a wearable, balanced pendant
  • Oxidizing, polishing, and finishing techniques to bring it all together
By the end of class, you’ll not only leave with a completed pendant—you’ll understand the language, tools, and process behind silversmithing, so you can keep building on these skills.
